The Forge and The Court (Nos 1, 2 and 3) II

C17, early Cl9. L-shaped block, the older part (with interior timber frame) facing the roadway (north-west) having one storey and attic, the later west elevation having 2 storeys and 4 regular windows. Tile roof to the older part with hipped dormers with cills at eaves level; low-pitched slate roof to the other part. Rendered walling, stone cills, plinth. Sashes in reveals (15 upper 20 lower lights); some later casements. Plain doors beneath canopies on carved brackets; modern solid porch to the old part.
