Description

Wantage Cottage is a house dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, with a later extension added to the north side. The building has two storeys and features irregular window arrangements. It is topped with a tiled roof that is half-hipped on the south side, while the half-hip on the former north side merges with the lower ridge of the extension. The upper part of the original structure displays heavy framing that is exposed, with painted brick infill and other types of walling, along with a plinth. The cottage has modern casement windows and a brick porch.
