Description

Frobury Farmhouse is a timber-frame building, dating to the 16th century, with significant alterations and additions in the 18th and 20th centuries. It has a T-shaped layout and was originally clad in brickwork during the 18th century. The building is two storeys high and has an irregular arrangement of windows. The roof is tiled and hipped, with a tile-hung gable on the south side. Sections of the original timber frame are exposed on the north side of the building, alongside more recent casement windows and a porch. The interior retains some of the original massive timber framing, which is partially exposed.
