Description

No. 7 Newbury Road is an early 19th-century cottage that features some internal timber-framing. The front, facing east, is from the main period, while there is a modern extension on the south side that matches the original style. The cottage is two storeys high and has three windows. It has a hipped tile roof and is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, with a flush blue band at the first floor and vertical strips on either side of the openings. The windows are casements, and there is a boarded door set in a solid frame, topped with a simple pediment canopy supported by brackets. The property has been modernised.
