Circa 1824. Square white stone pillar set diagonally, cut on the front as a sloping triangle, to fit an upper rounded front, finished at the top as a 1/2 dome. Incised lettering and numbers give, on the ½-dome 'Parish of Nately Scures', on the rounded front 'LONDON', on the triangle '41', on the north-east facet 'Basing Stoke 4', on the north-west facet 'Hartford Bridge 54', on the south-east facet 'Through ODIHAM TO LONDON 43', and on the south-west facet '41 miles from Hyde Park Corner'.
