Description

Nightingale Cottage is a 17th-century building with some modern alterations. Originally a one-storey structure with an attic, it has been raised to two storeys. The old part features a tile roof that is half-hipped at the east end and includes two gabled dormers. The east and north sides display exposed timber-framing with painted brick infilling. The windows are casements, and there is a modern porch and outshot attached to the cottage.
