Description

Newnham House is an early 19th-century building. It has two storeys and a symmetrical front, originally with a central design of two windows, one window, and then one window, extended to the west by three windows. Later, irregular additions were made to the east. The roof is low-pitched and covered in slate. The walls are stuccoed, with broad pilasters marking the corners and framing the central porch. The windows are sash windows set in reveals. A plain, solid porch features an entablature and broad pilasters.
