Description

The Thatched Bungalow is a circa 1800 beer house, built in two phases. It is a small, single-story house with three windows and a thatched roof. The western walls are of cob construction, while the eastern part is of painted brickwork. A recess in the centre of the north elevation, formerly a serving hatch, is now walled up. The windows are old wooden casements, and the doors are boarded and set in solid frames. Inside the north recess, there are remains of a folding bench, or counter.
