Description

The Limes is an early 19th-century building located on Bell Street in Whitchurch. It features a symmetrical facade on the south side, consisting of two storeys and three windows. The roof is low-pitched and hipped, covered with slate and has wide eaves. The walls are roughcast, with stone cills and a high plinth. The upper sashes are set in reveals and flanked by narrow side panes. There are French doors also accompanied by narrow side panes. The entrance has a six-panelled door with a fanlight, framed by pilasters, which are part of a former porch defined by a stone step and insets for column bases.
