Description

The Bell Public House is a two-storeyed timber-framed building dating from the 16th and 19th centuries. It features a hall with cross wings set at right angles to the roadway. The facade, which is from the later period, has three windows and is topped with tile roofing that includes hipped, half-hipped, and gabled sections. The upper floor has exposed framing with mainly rendered infilling, while the front (south) side is rendered and includes a first floor band. The windows are irregularly arranged, with Victorian sash windows on the front and casements on the other sides. There are also two old doorcases on the east elevation.
