Description
Fairclose House is an old house with a symmetrical facade dating to the early 19th century. It is situated in Whitchurch. The house is two storeys high with an attic, originally featuring three windows on its south-western elevation. It has a slate roof and stacks with bold, moulded caps, along with small dormer windows. The walls are stuccoed with a moulded eaves band, pilasters with moulded caps, moulded architraves, brackets supporting the centre sill, and a plain plinth. The windows are sash windows in reveals, with narrow side panes; the ground floor features angular bays with hipped slate roofs. A porch with a cambered head and reeded square columns provides access to a five-panelled door. Later additions have been made to the rear and side of the original structure.
