Description
The Shrubbery is an early 19th-century building located on Church Street in Whitchurch. It features a symmetrical front facing east, with two storeys and three windows. The hipped slate roof is complemented by brick dentil eaves. The walls are made of red brick in Flemish bond, adorned with rubbed flat arches. The windows are sashes set in reveals, with the ground-floor south side window showcasing a decorative Victorian square bay topped with a hipped slate roof. The north side has a modern projecting shop front. An early Victorian porch includes a canopy with a panelled fascia, plain pilasters and columns, a fanlight, and a six-panelled door that leads up to a stone step.
