Description

Nos 5 and 7 on Newbury Street are two-storey buildings with an attic, dating from the late 17th century, late 18th century, and 19th century. They feature a tile roof with two small, high-positioned gabled dormers that have diagonal lead casements. The walls are roughcast with cambered openings and a plinth. The ground floor has two Victorian sash windows and is primarily occupied by two shop fronts, each topped with an entablature supported by plain pilasters. One of the rear extensions includes a shafted stack, while the south gable reveals exposed timber framing in its upper section.
