Description
The service block to Down Grange, built in 1818, is a long narrow building with a slightly later extension to the south. It stands two storeys high and features five upper windows. The roof is slate and hipped at the south end, with eaves that have brick dentils above a deep fascia. The walls are made of red brick, which is rubbed flat, and there are semi-circular arches. The building has casement windows, although some openings have been filled. A date stone is also present.
