Description
Cherrycot Lodge is an early 19th-century plain classical house characterized by its simple symmetrical form. The building stands two storeys high and features two windows on its long side, with slate roofs and stucco walling. It has a plain eaves fascia and cambered openings on the ground floor, along with a plinth. The short side of the house has a gable with a pediment shape, and there is a casement window above a bay, which modifies a porch that also has a pediment gable. On the east side, a brick porchway has been added, featuring an opening to the south within the boundary wall and another to the east outside the boundary wall, both flanked by piers. Additionally, there is a single-storeyed outshot covered with slate on the east side and a modern flat-roofed outshot on the north side.
