Description

Manor Farmhouse dates to the late 17th century, with additions in the early 19th century. It is a U-shaped building with a later extension to the rear, now with a 1-2-1 window arrangement. The roof is hipped and tiled, with moulded brick eaves. The walls are red brick in a mixed bond, incorporating a first-floor band and a plinth. Some former windows have been replaced with flush infill. The front of the south wing features early 19th century sash windows with 16 panes. The south side of the recessed central section contains the front door, which is a 5-panelled door with a glazed upper panel, set within a modern gabled porch. Inside, the staircase has oak slatted balusters, panelled doors in architrave frames, and a large chimney breast. Other elevations have a similar design but with altered window placement; the south facade has three windows and an old central door leading to a modern conservatory.
