Description
The Cottage, Pump Cottage, Hillview, Oak Cottage, and Novam, which was formerly a garage and workshop, is a building likely dating from the 17th century and altered later. It consists of three houses that form one structure, standing two storeys tall with five windows. The building is primarily made of painted brick, except for The Cottage, which has a roughcast ground floor and tile hanging above. The easternmost window bay is a later addition. The roof is tiled, and the windows are casement style with diamond-shaped panes. There is a modern porch and two modern bays on the ground floor. Novam, the former garage with a workshop above, is a mid-19th century addition, featuring painted brick on the ground floor and weather-boarding above, with a tiled roof and multi-paned workshop windows.
