Description
Gordon House and Newington Stores are an early 19th-century building located on the north side of the High Street in Wadhurst. The building is two storeys in height and has six windows. The ground floor is constructed of painted brick. The upper floor of Newington Stores is weatherboarded, while Gordon House has clapboard. Both sections have slate roofs; Gordon House's roof also features fishscale tiles and four 19th-century gabled dormers. The building is included in the list for its group value.
