Description

The Smugglers' Inn is a 18th-century timber-framed building located on the north side of the Village Street in Pevensey. The original timber framing and plaster infilling are visible at the back, while the front has been re-faced in the 18th century with roughcast. The building features a cornice and parapet, along with sash windows that retain their glazing bars. The doorway is adorned with pilasters that have foliated capitals and a projecting cornice.
