Description

Penthouse Cottages, located on the south side of The Village Street in Pevensey, is a range of cottages dating from the 17th century or earlier, which was refaced in the 18th century. The building stands two storeys high. Cottages 1 to 3 are faced with cobbles and feature red brick dressings along with long and short stone quoins. Cottage 4 has a red brick ground floor with tile-hanging above. The roof is tiled, and the windows are casement style. At the west end, there is a passage through the ground floor, with a tile-hung section above it.
