5272 BETHERSDEN THE STREET (south side) Johns Cottages (Nos 1, 2 and 3) formerly listed as Nos 1 to 3 (consec) St Johns Cottages) TQ 9240 21/10 14.2.67 II GV 2. Probably C17 or earlier timber-framed building, refaced C18 with red brick on the ground floor and tile-hung above. Steeply-pitched hipped tiled roof. Four casement windows. The easternmost cottage has lost its trellised wooden porch.
