Description

Lion Cottage, St Anthonys and Apple Tree is a building originally known as Keith Row, located on Castle Street in Winchelsea. It dates back to the 17th century, although it has been modernised and contains some work from the 14th century inside. The structure has two storeys and an attic, featuring five windows and five hipped dormers. The ground floor is either stuccoed or made of stone rubble, while the upper part is tile-hung. It has a moulded wooden eaves cornice and a half-hipped tiled roof. The windows are casement style. Below the building, there is a vaulted cellar that dates back to around 1300.
