Description

The Match Box House is an early 19th-century building located on the north side of High Street in Icklesham, Winchelsea. It stands three storeys tall and features two windows. The exterior is weather-boarded, and there is an eaves cornice along the top. The roof is hipped and covered with tiles. The original vertical glazing bars remain intact, although there is a modern curved window on the ground floor.
