Description

Winchelsea Cottage is an early 19th-century building, originally part of Periteau House, situated on the north side of High Street, Winchelsea. It is a two-storey structure with two windows. The ground floor is painted brick, with brick cogging above, while the first floor is tile-hung. The roof is tiled, and the original glazing bars remain intact. A section at the east end of the building appears to be of earlier construction, possibly dating to the 17th century.
