Description

This is a terrace of ten, two-storey houses, numbered 37 to 67, Military Road. They were built in the first half of the 19th century, forming a half-crescent shape. The houses are constructed of red brick with slate roofs. Nos 61 to 67 have brick parapets, and all houses except Nos 65 and 67 have dormer windows. Nos 37 to 43 project slightly beyond the main building line. The sash windows retain their original glazing bars. Each house has a door set within a recessed archway, topped with a semi-circular fanlight containing glazing bars. Nos 37 to 67 (odd) are considered a group of buildings with group value.
