Description

Springfield Court, originally known as Springfield and located in Playden, is a two-storey and attic building dating from the early to mid-19th century. It has three windows and three pedimented dormers. The building is stuccoed, with the ground floor rusticated, and pilasters flank the front. A stringcourse runs along the facade, and a wide eaves cornice is visible. The roof is covered in slate and is hipped in form. The original glazing bars remain intact, and Venetian shutters are fitted to the windows. A wide porch supported by coupled Doric columns is a prominent feature at the front.
