Description

The Preacher's House is a 15th-century timber-framed building located in Ewhurst Green. It features close-studded construction with plaster infilling, and the first floor oversails and is now covered with tiles. The building has a steeply-pitched hipped tiled roof and casement windows. On the south-west end of the ground floor, there is an original two-light window, with a lean-to addition beyond it. At the north-east end, there is a weather-boarded addition with one window bay, which was previously a separate cottage but is now incorporated into the main house. The structure has two storeys and contains a total of four windows.
