Description

The Parish Church of St James is a Grade I listed building located in Ewhurst Green. It features a chancel, a nave with aisles, and a west tower. The south arcade and the base of the tower date back to the 12th century, while the majority of the church was constructed in the 14th century. The tower is topped with a twisted broached shingled spire, which is made of timber-framed construction and is also of medieval origin.
