Description
Dale Hamme is a 15th-century timber-framed building of Wealden type, featuring plaster infilling. The first floor of the west half of the north front is close-studded and extends out over a moulded bressummer. The ground floor of the east half has been underbuilt. The center of the building is recessed, with a bracket supporting the eaves and a later bay on both floors. It has a stone slate roof and casement windows. The building is two storeys tall and has four windows. The east, south, and west fronts are tile-hung. Originally converted into two cottages, it has now been restored to a single house.
