Description
Marshalls Manor is an L-shaped house, with the earliest part at the rear dating from the 14th to 15th century and constructed of timber framing. The main section of the house, built in the 16th century, is made of stone and has two storeys. It features five windows and gables at both ends of the main block and at the end of the west wing, all adorned with kneelers and ball finials at the kneelers and apex. There is an attic storey in the gables, and the windows are casements with stone dripmoulds. The roof is covered with stone slates on the west half and ordinary slates on the south half, and there are brick chimneys. The southernmost window bay and the porch are modern or restored.
