Description
Four Ways Timbers is a building that was originally a poorhouse and later converted into two cottages. It has an L-shaped layout, with the south wing being an early 17th century timber-framed structure. While some timber framing is exposed, most of the building has been refaced with red brick. The south side features tile-hanging and has a half-hipped gable with a slight overhang, topped by a tiled roof. The windows are casement style. The L-wing to the east dates from the 18th century, and the north cottage is an 18th century addition made of painted brick. The building stands two storeys high and has five windows.
