Description

Atherall's Farmhouse is a large L-shaped house built in the late 18th century. It has three storeys, with the second-floor windows on the west front being dummies. The building features five windows and is constructed of red brick. It has a stone eaves cornice and a stuccoed string course, topped with a hipped tiled roof. The windows are adorned with large stone keystones and retain their glazing bars. The doorway is notable for its Doric pilasters, a frieze with a key pattern, a modillion cornice, and a door made up of six fielded panels.
