Description

This is an early 19th-century townhouse located on Wellington Square. The building has a stuccoed exterior with a rusticated ground floor. It features a low-pitched slate hipped roof and a cornice. The house extends over four storeys, plus a basement. It is two windows wide. The windows are sash windows; the ground floor windows lack their original glazing bars, while the first-floor windows retain their original glazing bars and now have a wooden balcony replacing the original. A round-headed doorway on the right-hand side has a fanlight and a moulded, panelled door. The basement area is enclosed by railings incorporating arrow-headed shafts and turned newels topped with pineapple finials. The listed buildings on Wellington Square are considered to form a group.
