Description
Nos 139 to 141 on All Saints Street are a pair of buildings dated 1853. They are constructed of red brick and feature a slate roof with gable ends and a parapet that has a brick dentil course. The buildings are two storeys high and three windows wide, with sash windows that have vertical glazing bars, painted stone lintels with keystones, and cills. The doors also have similar painted stone lintels. There is a round-arch passageway located off centre, which includes a keyblock. The doorways of Nos 140 and 141, to the right, have painted stone lintels with keyblocks and narrow rectangular fanlights. No 139, to the left, originally housed a shop; it now has a sash window inserted but retains the original shop fascia with a dentilled cornice and carved brackets at the ends, along with a doorway featuring a rectangular fanlight. Above the passageway is an elliptical panel displaying initials and the date 1853. This listing is included for its group value, as all the listed buildings on All Saints Street form a cohesive group.
