Description

Nos. 4 and 6, known as N.S.S. Newsagent, is a house that has been converted into a shop and office. The front dates from the 18th century and is part of an older building that was altered in the 20th century. It features painted stucco and an old tile gabled roof. The building is two storeys high and has a small dentilled cornice and a plain parapet, with a chimney located on the rear slope to the right. The upper floor has three bays of sash windows with glazing bars, all set within architrave surrounds. The ground floor has a 20th-century shop front and door.
