Description

Nos. 6 and 8 Milton Road are a pair of cottages built in the late 17th century. They are constructed of brick and feature an old tiled gabled roof. The cottages stand two storeys tall and have a chimney on the ridge to the left of the centre, which has a corbelled head and tall clay chimney pots. A dentilled plat band runs along the building. The front is symmetrical with five bays, featuring 2-light 19th-century casement windows; the ground floor windows have segmental heads. The first floor has blocked windows in the second and fourth bays, with 4-panelled entrance doors below, one of which has the top two panels glazed.
