Description

Nos. 5 and 7 Station Terrace are a pair of cottages that were originally a house, dating from the 17th century and the 19th century. They are constructed from coursed limestone rubble and brick, topped with a pantile roof that has a single ridge and two gable brick stacks. The gables are coped with brick. The cottages are two stories high and have five bays. The central bay features a three-light 20th-century casement window, flanked by single plank doors. To the right, there is a single three-light 19th-century casement window, and to the left, a deeply recessed three-light casement. All openings are fitted with wooden lintels. Above, there are two small two-light sliding casements and a single two-light square dormer.
