Description
The granary, now used as a garden store, dates from the late 17th century and is located approximately 8 metres to the south-west of Church Farmhouse on Shinfield Church Lane. It is constructed with a timber frame and brick infill, topped by an old tile hipped roof. The building is one storey high and stands on nine straddle stones, two of which have been replaced by 19th-century cast iron replicas. The original entrance door, which is planked and ledged, is situated on the south-west side, accompanied by a small original framed, planked opening to the right, positioned near the top of the door.
