Description

WOKINGHAM EASTHAMPSTEAD ROAD SU 8168 NW (South west side) 18/76 Nos. 3 and 5 and the southern section of the Victoria 2.5.74 Arms Public House II 2 cottages, now offices and part public house. C18 altered and extended C20. Rendered and painted, old tile gabled roof. Rectangular plan with C20 extensions at rear. 2 storeys. 2 chimneys on ridge. Projecting plinth, dentilled eaves. C20 casements irregularly spaced; one 3-light and two 2-light on first floor; two 3-light and one 2-light on ground floor. Those on ground floor have segmental arched heads. Right hand section similar but painted brick with one C19 3-light casement under segmental arch. Two 6-panelled C20 doors in left section, one in right; under flat hoods. Small C20 brick terrace in front, with plain low wrought iron railings in 7 bays. Interior:- queen post roof trusses exposed with trough purlins.
