Description

The Old Barn and Skipps Cottage is a small barn that has been converted into two cottages, dating from the early 19th century. It features a timber frame with a gabled roof covered in old tiles and stands one and a half storeys tall. The wall facing the street is constructed of random brick and flint, while the east gable is weather boarded. There is a weather boarded, arched, blocked central entrance. At the rear, there are 20th-century extensions and conversions. A small yard is located to the west, and to the east, there is a 9-foot brick wall on a flint plinth that extends for about 10 yards. The building is included for its group value.
