Description

This is a small house, now used as offices, dating from the late 18th century and altered in the mid-20th century. The exterior is painted stucco with a hipped slate roof. The building is arranged around a central staircase. It is two storeys high and has a chimney on the left side. A dentilled eaves cornice runs along the top of the facade. The symmetrical front of three bays faces Rose Street. It features sash windows with glazing bars. The central entrance has a fielded six-panel door with a bracketed hood and pilasters. Two matching sash windows are present on the side elevation, looking onto the narrow part of the street. The building forms an important visual element at the northwest end of Rose Street and is situated on a corner, marking the entrance to the narrowed section.
