Description
The Lord Raglan Public House is a public house built in the early 19th century, with alterations and extensions made in the mid and late 20th century. It is constructed of brick and features an old tile gabled roof, along with a 20th-century pent roof extension at the rear. The building stands two storeys high and includes a cellar. There are two chimneys on the ridge, which have dentilled, offset heads and original clay pots. The exterior is rendered with a black painted plinth and includes a first-floor string course that extends over a semi-circular arched yard entry on the left side. A modillion course is present at the small parapet. The building has sash windows, with those on the first floor featuring marginal glazing, all topped with segmental painted brick arched heads. The entrance door, which has two panels, is located on the left, to the right of the first window, and is topped with a semi-circular arched painted head.
