Description

Hunters Lodge is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It dates from the 17th century and has undergone alterations. The building features a combination of timber framing with painted brick infilling and painted pebble dash. The old tile roof is hipped to the right and half hipped to the left. The structure has a T-plan with a one-bay timber-framed wing projecting at the back and a central chimney. It stands two storeys high. The southeast front includes two bays of 19th-century casement windows and a central door that is topped with a pediment hood. Inside, there are some exposed timber framing and an inglenook fireplace.
