Description

Burcott House is a mid-19th century house located on The Terrace in Wokingham. It is a two-storey house with attics and a basement, constructed with painted render and a slate gabled roof, set on an L-shaped plan. The road front features carved bargeboards. The left side has an unequal pitched gable and an angled bay window extends across the ground and first floors. A small, set-back gabled section is on the right, featuring a sash window with glazing bars on the first floor, and an entrance door within a 'Tudor' arch. To the right of this is a low one-bay gabled section with a small, blocked opening above garage doors. The building is included on the list for its contribution to the group value of the surrounding properties.
