Description
The Queen's Head Public House is a hall house that dates back to the early 15th century, with alterations made in the 19th century and an extension added in the late 20th century. It features a timber frame that is encased in painted brick and painted render, topped with an old tile hipped roof that is hipped on the west side. The building has one and a half storeys and includes a flank chimney on the left. It has a rectangular plan consisting of three framed bays, with an extension at the rear. The road-facing side has three flat roof dormers and a black, painted, projecting plinth. There are one two-light and two three-light leaded casements, along with a six-panelled door located to the right of the centre, which is framed by panelled pilasters and a flat moulded hood supported by small brackets. A painted bracket sign of Queen Elizabeth is also present.
