Description
Nos 24 and 25 on Thames Street are late 18th-century buildings that were originally one house. They stand three storeys tall, with No 24 constructed of painted brick and No 25 finished in stucco. The buildings feature a band cornice and a brick parapet with stone coping, topped by an old tile roof. The façade includes three coupled windows, with the central bay slightly projecting. The glazing bars of the sashes in No 24 are intact. Both properties have plain modern shop fronts. They are part of an important group that includes No 2 Thames Street, Knights Tavern, and Nos 5 to 16 and 18 to 25 Thames Street.
