Description
Buck Farmhouse is a farmhouse, now a house, built in 1829. It was extended in the late 19th century and altered in the 20th century. The building is constructed of brick with vitreous headers and features a low-pitched hipped slate roof. It has a rectangular plan with extensions at the rear and stands two storeys tall. There are two chimneys with clay pots located at the rear. The front has sash windows with thin glazing bars and gauged brick arches. It has a three-bay front with a central blind panel on the first floor that displays a deer and the date 1829 painted on it. The entrance door is panelled and has a semi-circular fanlight above, along with a semi-circular moulded hood.
