Description
Felix Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the early to mid-19th century. It features red brick walls with random blue headers arranged in Flemish bond, and a hipped slate roof with a round hip at the center front over a rounded projecting bay. The building has a rectangular central staircase plan consisting of four cells and includes a rendered plinth.
The farmhouse is two storeys tall and has four chimneys with offset heads, three of which have clay pots. The front facing the road has three bays, with the center bay projecting the full height of the building. It features a central door set in a deep, plain reveal beneath a shallow segmental brick arch. The door has a glazed upper part along with an overlight and sidelights, and is framed by a brick doorcase with a moulded brick cornice and pediment. The windows have louvred shutters, and the first-floor window in the first bay is blocked and painted to resemble a real window. The interior has not been inspected.
