Description

The garden wall on the north-west side of Binfield Lodge is a Grade II listed structure dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and forms a rectangular enclosure that once surrounded the kitchen garden of Binfield Lodge. The wall is approximately 2 metres high and features buttresses, with sections having a weathered top and others a plain top. There is a wrought-iron gate on the west side, positioned between two tall gate piers that have corniced stone caps. This wall is included in the listing for its group value with the lodge.
