Description

Haydens Cottage is a building that originally consisted of two cottages but has been converted into one house. It dates from the early 18th century and was altered in the 20th century. The structure is made of brick with vitreous headers and features an old tile hipped roof. It stands two storeys high and has two ridge chimneys. The eaves course is dentilled and offset.

The road-facing side has 20th-century, three-light leaded casements, with five on the first floor; the center one is blank and has an old insurance plaque. There is a similar casement on the ground floor, but it features segmental brick heads. The building also has a 20th-century enclosed porch and an old entrance door located at the right-hand end.
